• The Malaysia 4x4 Trophy is an off-road motorsport event that combines extreme off-road driving with adventure and endurance challenges in Malaysia’s diverse landscapes, including jungles, rivers, and rugged terrains. The event emphasizes not only driving skills but also survival, teamwork, and navigation, testing participants’ resilience, adaptability, and cooperation.

 

2. Eligibility and Teams

• Participants: The event is open to amateur off-road enthusiasts. 

• Teams: Each participating team consists of 2 units of 4x4 Vehicles, with 2 Drivers + 2 Co-Drivers. Teams must demonstrate cooperation, skill, and resilience.
   

3. Vehicles and Equipment

• Vehicles: Participants must use 4x4 vehicles approved by the event organizers. Vehicles may be modified for off-road performance, including the addition of winches, snorkels, roll cages, and recovery equipment. All modifications must meet safety and technical standards set by the organizers.

• Equipment: Teams are responsible for bringing their recovery gear, navigation tools, and camping supplies. Standardized equipment for special tasks will be provided by the organizers during specific challenges.
   

4. Driving and Navigation Rules

• Driving Discipline: Safety is paramount. Participants must adhere to event-specific driving rules, maintaining control at all times and avoiding reckless behavior.

• Routes will include checkpoints and Team or Special tasks that must be completed in sequence.

• Respect for Environment: Participants are required to minimize their impact on the environment. Off-track driving, damage to vegetation, and littering are strictly prohibited.
   

5. Team / Special Tasks and Challenges

• Team / Special Tasks: The event features a variety of challenges, such as winching exercises, river crossings, bridge building, and other tasks that test technical skills and teamwork.

• Timekeeping: Some challenges are time-based, while others are judged on precision, technique, and adherence to the rules.

• Teamwork: Cooperation within and between teams is encouraged, with certain tasks requiring joint efforts for successful completion.
   

6. Safety Regulations

• Safety First: Safety procedures are strictly enforced, including the proper use of recovery equipment, first aid protocols, and safe driving techniques.
